Ruckus is an American game show starring The Amazing Johnathan and shot at Merv Griffin's Resorts in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Assistants on the program were Helen and Charlene. The format has audience members playing games for cash prizes. The most used game on the program was Reach for The Stars. The show aired in 1991 and was cancelled after only a few months. It aired only on WNBC-TV in New York, weeknights at 7:30, opposite Wheel of Fortune. It didn't air nationally until GSN started airing the series in Fall 1997 and again in 2001.
Ruckus was produced by Merv Griffin Enterprises (the same company that produces Wheel Of Fortune and Jeopardy!, two of Griffin's most well-known game shows). It was the last game show to be produced by Merv Griffin Enterprises.
The entire series exists and has been shown on GSN.
